![]() ![]() Well, since I invested thousand of hours in this franchise and have so much to say, I'll just add to your comment.įirst, the versions I own are FM11 and FM15. THIS! I scrolled down to see if someone had commented what was on my mind and if it wasn't the case I would comment myself. Wish someone would bring back the magic of late CM/early FM though. Good for SI that the fans still like it but it stopped being for me. ![]() Then you have the completely non-sensical modern tactical set up full of misnomers where text descriptions literally do not correspond to the actual effect on the team's performance (mentality for example). ![]() The UI is terrible as well, with it being almost impossible to figure out the behavior of certain players on the pitch or the cause for mistakes. This is so fucking aggravating that it's caused me to quit in FM16, 18 and 20. Everything is annoying.īut by far the biggest problem in the new games is how you'll be doing well and, out of nowhere, for no reason, your players just stop scoring goals and conceding the most ridiculous stuff out of nowhere. Same thing for transfers, which used to be fairly simple ordeals, are now 10-message long chains and dramas with agents. I just want to set up tactics and play in competitions, i don't care about talking to an AI pretending to be a player. I'd tolerate it if the player conversation AI was coherent but it's incredibly retarded and non sensical. The game has turned into a nanny simulator where you have to babysit players and micro manage so much stuff that it's just really tedious.
